1. Write an Essay on any one of the following/ निम्नलिखित में से किसी एक पर निबंध लिखें।

About 300 words):- (Max. Marks: 15)

A. Women Empowerment

B. Patriotism

C. Importance of Environment.

Answer -

Let’s pick “Women Empowerment”

Answer (approx. 300 words):

Women empowerment refers to the process of increasing the social, economic, political, and legal strength of women to ensure equal rights and opportunities. In many societies, women have historically been denied education, property rights, equal wages, and decision-making powers. Empowering women is essential for building a progressive, inclusive, and sustainable society.

Education is the most powerful tool for women's empowerment. An educated woman can make informed choices, raise educated children, and contribute to economic growth. Governments and NGOs have implemented schemes to promote girl-child education, but challenges such as poverty, early marriage, and gender bias remain.

Economic empowerment is another crucial aspect. By providing women with access to employment, entrepreneurship, credit, and property rights, societies can tap into their immense potential. Women-led businesses and self-help groups have improved the economic condition of families and communities.

Political empowerment is also necessary. When women participate in governance and decision-making bodies, they can advocate for issues like maternal health, education, and safety. Reservation of seats for women in local bodies has helped increase their representation.

Legal reforms and strict enforcement of laws are needed to eliminate practices like dowry, domestic violence, sexual harassment, and gender discrimination. Women should feel safe in public spaces and workplaces.

In conclusion, empowering women is not just a moral duty but a strategic imperative. A nation can never achieve its full potential if half of its population is left behind. Empowered women contribute to healthier families, stronger economies, and more just societies. It is essential that all stakeholders – government, civil society, and individuals – work together to promote and sustain women's empowerment.

एक घड़ी को 350 रुपये में बेचने पर 340 रुपये में बेचने की तुलना में 5% अधिक लाभ होता है। घड़ी का क्रय मूल्य क्या है?

Answer -

(350−x)/x ×100 = (340−x)/x ×100 +5
(350−x) = (340−x) + 0.05x
350−x = 340−x +0.05x
350−340 =0.05x
10=0.05x
